Lois and I have enjoyed two days on the water - Sunday at a water park and Monday on Lake LBJ.
I've updated the website at www.pryslak.net/2006 with new pictures on May 5, 6 and 8.

Today we're starting to drive south from the Kerrville area towards Del Rio, then west on U.S. 90 towards Big Bend National Park. We're not likely to have cell phone service for quite a while. Maybe we'll get lucky, but if not, I'll write as soon as I can - perhaps several days to as much as a week from now.
To reach us while we're out of range, call the cell phone and leave a voice message. We can still check for messages using a pay phone (assuming we can find a pay phone).
Greetings from Van Horn, Texas!
We've had a wonderful time in Big Bend National Park and we're now working our way north towards New Mexico.
I've updated the web site www.pryslak.net/2006/ with pictures from the past few days.
While we're in cell phone range this morning, we don't expect to have cell phone coverage for the next few days.
Happy Mother's Day!
This morning we're in Albuquerque stocking up our supplies, then we'll be heading north and west in New Mexico. We've got nine days to get to Grand Teton for Memorial Day weekend.
I've updated the web site www.pryslak.net/2006/ with more pictures of the past two days. Remember to click on the dates to see our pictures.
We expect cell phone coverage to remain poor.
Mike & Lois
We're at Bear Lake in Utah, about to drive the several hours to Grand Teton for the holiday weekend.
I've updated the web site www.pryslak.net/2006/ with lots of new pictures - click on the dates to see our pictures.
I don't expect to have Internet service for more than a week - if you need to reach me, please leave a voice message on my cell phone - I check that every few days from a pay phone.
Mike & Lois
Lois and I are in Gardner, Montana tonight (accessing the Internet from a payphone with a plug in a laundrymat).
No, we didn't fall off the face of the planet, just that portion of the planet that has cell phone and Internet service. We're having a WONDERFUL time in Yellowstone - seeing lots of animals. So far, four bear sightings (three times the same bear in three differnet days), elk with antlers, baby bison and baby elk and two beavers top our list. We hope to see wolves tomorrow. (We boated on Yellowstone Lake yesterday - the water was about 45 degrees, but we had a great time.)
My web hosting company had problems this past week - they told me how to fix my web sites - and I did what they told me to do, but it doesn't seem to be working yet. Hopefully my web site will be back working soon.
If you need us, please leave a message on my cell phone voice mail,
Mike & Lois
We ended our Yellowstone visit today by sighting a black bear with her cub!
We're in Billings, Montana tonight, and tomorrow morning we'll start driving toward Ohio. We're not yet sure of our route and any possible stops; perhaps a visit through Michigan, perhaps a day boating on some lake we find along the way.
We expect to be in cell phone range for much of the remainder of the trip.
The web site www.pryslak.net has been repaired (I hope) and I've posted our pictures from today. I'll try to add more video clips when I can.
We’re on the third phase of this vacation: Big Bend, Yellowstone, and now on to Ohio. We're in Pentwater, Michigan this morning about to drive the 335 miles to Cedar Point, where we'll meet Steven, Michaelle and David for a week of Ohio roller coasters.
Since we will mainly be in metropolitan areas, the cell phone should work.
I've updated the web site www.pryslak.net/2006/ Mike & Lois
We're in Lebanon, Ohio, soon on our way back to Cleveland. We left Steve, Michaelle, David and their three dogs last night - they're on their way back to Miami for David's football camp which starts Sunday morning.
I updated the web site www.pryslak.net/2006/ with a few more pictures and two video clips. (Sorry, but there aren't many pictures of us in the amusement parks - but we all had a great time together.)
Lois and I returned to Miami on Saturday, just in time to enjoy 4th of July at home. Our trip was wonderful.
They're not Yellowstone geysers or the Bellagio fountains, but if you click on the following link you'll see a fun video proving that soda and candy are fun: Diet Coke and Mentos video.
