May 29, 2006 - Heavier snow at Grand Teton National Park

At 3 a.m. the power went out. Our gas heater kept us warm, but in the morning we found it had snowed about six inches - and we had the TV antenna up and the slideout out - so I had to climb on the roof and clear the snow off the motorhome roof, antenna and slideout awning before we could start driving for the day.

Look closely - a bull moose Lois spotted well after sunset as we were driving back to our campsite for the night:
