For Lois, Lori and Frank - here's Crowley Lake in the Sierra-Nevada mountains
Sorry, there was no place to pull off the road so Janet took this picture from the window of the moving motor home.

She got dressed to go outside, but it was just too cool (50 degrees) and the wind was blowing too fast (40 - 50 mph) so she stayed inside.

Perhaps the most beautiful place I've ever seen, here we are camped overlooking Lake June, CA.
Notice the snow-capped mountains, the lake, the forest - and the white caps on the lake only hint at the steady 50 mph winds. We dry-camped here - no hook-ups, only the motor home and this view. By sunrise it was 27 degrees and snowing.

We're very close to Yosemite National Park, but the primary route to get there over the Sierra-Nevada mountains is still closed for winter, we're not sure how we're going to get there yet.
